Dr. St. Marie received his medical degree from the Autonomous University of Guadalajara in 1976. He completed residencies in Emergency Medicine and General Surgery at the University of Florida and fulfilled residency requirements in Occupational Medicine at the University of Cincinnati. Dr. St. Marie is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and is certified by the American Board of Emergency Medicine. Dr. St. Marie most recently worked in the Emergency Department at Fairview and Lutheran Hospitals in Cleveland, Ohio.
Jim joined Ashtabula County Medical Center in 2006. He is currently full time at Jefferson Emergency Rescue as a Paramedic. Jim has also worked several years as an ER medic and as an EMT instructor at Lakeland Community College. He served several years as an Infantry squad leader and currently resides in Madison with his wife Kristy and their children Sahra, Jimmy, Jacob, and Ethan.
